Mary Batchelor

Working in acrylics, Mary Batchelor is a Scottish artist who is deeply passionate about the majestic Caledonian landscape.

Mary attended Glasgow School of Art under the tutelage of Peter Howson, David Linley

and Norrie Kirkham, and since then her style has perceptibly developed

and matured over the years.

Her work is widely exhibited throughout Scotland and she is a well-known figure in London, too, with successful shows at a number of city galleries and in the Home Counties.

An artist member of Paisley Art Institute and Primera Arts, and active associate of the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and Visual Arts Scotland, she has also shown at the Royal Scottish Academy.

Mary has sold work all over the world – Japan, the Czech Republic, the USA, Australia – and exhibits widely throughout the UK, as well as bridging the Channel to show in France, too.
